Course Description

The aim of this course is to portray the presence of a natural power in the landscape which can only be described as the “Spirit of Place”. Learn about creative interpretation and develop greater personal vision in painting. Vision making is in water-based media. Explore both traditional and modernist techniques. Discern the extraordinary in the ordinary. Comment on life experiences, besides observing the mere appearances of objects of the everyday. Suitable for painters with some experience, but not for complete beginners.
